Back for two weeks this summer—by popular demand! Dive into the world of screen printing in this fun and dynamic class designed specifically for teens. Screen printing is a versatile and popular technique for creating bold, custom designs on fabric, paper, and more. Students will explore the basics of screen printing, including methods using stencils, direct drawing, and photo emulsion. Learn how to layer colors and textures to produce striking, one-of-a-kind prints. This class is perfect for teens eager to explore new artistic techniques. While the focus will be on printing on paper, there will be an exciting opportunity to print on T-shirts during the final session. (Students must provide their own T-shirt.) Bring your ideas and sketches to incorporate into your designs. The tuition for this class includes a fee of $30 for basic materials provided by CAW. Dates: 7/6–7/10 and 7/13–7/17

Hammer, saw, fold, stamp, twist, shape, and heat metal as you create your own sculptures and jewelry! Students will explore copper and brass sheet metal and wire while learning how to make both 2-D and 3-D designs. Young artists will safely experiment with basic hand tools—such as mallets, cutters, files, pliers, and torches—with one-on-one guidance from the instructor. This hands-on class is a unique opportunity to try a new art form, build skills, and create special metal artworks to take home. Fun with Metal is a half-day afternoon program. Tuition for this class includes a fee of $20 for materials provided by CAW.
