Visual Storytelling: Photography with Meaning

In person

Denton Hoyer

Photography Workshop: All Levels

Great photographs do more than capture a moment—they communicate an idea, evoke emotion, and tell a compelling story.

Learn how to use composition, light, timing, and perspective to create images that convey narrative and meaning. Whether your subject is a person, a place, an event, or an abstract concept, you’ll explore techniques for building photographs that engage viewers and express your unique point of view.

This workshop is designed for photographers who are already comfortable with the basic functions and settings of their camera. Rather than focusing on how to operate your equipment, we will concentrate on creative strategies for making images with greater depth, intention, and impact.

School Policies

Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.
