Creativity meets skill-building for young artists! Explore a variety of artistic techniques, materials, and creative projects in this fun, hands-on class. Experiment with sketching using pencils, pens, and charcoal, and learn to draw from both observation and imagination. Discover different painting and drawing styles, explore color theory and how colors work together, and get inspired by the artwork of  famous artists. We will cover still life, landscape, portraits, collage and mixed media. Tuition for this class includes a fee of $20 for basic materials provided by CAW. Students will explore a variety of art subjects and materials as we venture into doodles, fabrics, sculpture, paper, painting, and printmaking. This class will encourage individual interpretation as well as working together as a group. The focus will be on the development of fine motor skills, observation, and self-expression.
