Creative Arts Workshop welcomes fore-edge painter Martin Frost for a free public lecture discussing the history of and techniques used in fore-edge painting uses books from his own collection. Martin has been working in West Sussex, England for 40 years and has painted the edges of over 3,500 books including examples of the scarce all-edge, split and two-way doubles, and binds many of his books, too. He has written a workshop manual, published articles, and lectured to many major organisations interested in the art and craft of the book throughout the UK, Canada, and the US. His work can be found in many national and international institutes and private collections.
