This printmaking technique is for artists who want to create uniquely patterned and vivid color separations, as well as subtle color variations where desired. Participants will learn how to manipulate the viscosity of their printing inks to produce these effects. The process can be purely experimental, or it can be combined with traditional and contemporary monotype methods. Students will design and cut their own stencils to incorporate into their prints. Includes one 3-hour practice session during monitored practice hours. The tuition for this class includes a materials fee of $10 for basic materials provided by CAW.
