Curious about printmaking and terms like monotype, intaglio, relief, and lithography? This one-day workshop offers a hands-on introduction to a variety of printmaking techniques. Through demonstrations, examples, and guided practice, you’ll learn printmaking fundamentals—how to compose imagery, mix ink, prepare plates, and use a printmaking press.
Bring your ideas to life and have fun while doing it! Printmaking is an expansive medium with something for everyone. This workshop is a fantastic introduction to both the CAW printmaking studio and the possibilities of the medium itself. Students will walk away with several prints.
The tuition for this class includes a fee of $10 for basic materials provided by CAW.
