String, Stitch, and Structure: Creative Explorations in Fiber Arts

In person

Jamia Weir

Fiber Arts Class: All Levels

Discover the creative possibilities of yarn, string, fabric, natural fibers, and found materials in this hands-on fiber studio “sampler” for adults.

Through demonstrations, guided practice, and supported studio time, students will learn a variety of foundational fiber techniques and processes through encouraging experimentation, improvisation, and personal expression.

Explore creative ways to wrap, weave, stitch, connect, and transform soft materials into unique functional and sculptural works. Whether you’re new to the fiber arts or looking to expand your creative practice, this welcoming class emphasizes curiosity, play, and process over perfection. No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

School Policies

Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.
