Deepen your understanding of traditional photographic processes while refining darkroom techniques. Explore toning, medium and large format photography, and alternative processes such as cyanotype and palladium printing.
Emphasis is placed on developing a cohesive body of work through regular critiques and group discussions, fostering both technical growth and conceptual clarity. Designed for those with prior experience in black-and-white film development and printing.
Tuition includes optional open lab time on Fridays from 6-9 PM, where students can practice and refine the techniques covered in class.
Students with limited experience in film photography are welcome to enroll and can catch up through the weekly practice lab sessions.
A $20 materials fee for basic supplies provided by CAW is included in the tuition.
