Unleash your creativity in this hands-on, three-day mask-making workshop led by master puppeteer Isaac Bloodworth!
Young artists will dive into the fundamentals of papier-mâché mask making, from inflating balloons and layering torn paper to getting their hands delightfully messy in glue. Once their masks take shape, students will bring them to life with vibrant decorations and personal flair.
As a special bonus, participants are invited to a “Crankie Box” workshop at Creative Arts Workshop on Sunday, March 30, from 12:30-2pm where they’ll explore this captivating form of visual storytelling. Crankies use illustrated scrolls wound between spools inside a box, allowing artists to create moving images and patterns with a simple turn of a crank.
Plus, each student will receive a FREE TICKET to the 3 PM performance of Fraggle Rock at the Shubert on March 30!
Additional tickets may be purchased at a discounted value of Orchestra ($55.20), Mezzanine ($47.70) or Balcony( $33.50).
Please contact Azaria Samuels at the Schubert Theater for these tickets at 203-773-4357 or asamuels@capa.com
