Introduction to Black and White Analog Film Photography

In person

Mark Lamoureux

Photography Class: Beginner + Intermediate

Explore the art of black and white film photography.

Drawing inspiration from professional photographers, students will learn to analyze images with a focus on light, composition, and meaning. Gain experience operating a 35mm camera, developing film, and printing black and white images in the darkroom. Through demonstrations, assignments, critiques, and guided lab work, you’ll refine your photography skills and creative vision.

The class also includes an optional open lab practice session where students can work on and refine the techniques discussed in class.

Tuition for this class includes a fee of $20 for basic materials provided by CAW.

School Policies

Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.
