Creative Arts Workshop will host the 124th Annual Juried Exhibition of the New Haven Paint & Clay Club, the oldest continuously active art society in Connecticut. This prestigious exhibition will be on view from March 31 – April 26, 2025, showcasing outstanding works from artists across the Northeast.
This year’s juror, Stephanie M. Heydt, PhD, Director of Collections and Exhibitions at the New Britain Museum of American Art, brings her expertise in American art to curate an exceptional selection of pieces. Prizes totaling over $4,000 will be awarded, with select works added to the Club’s renowned Permanent Collection.

The New Haven Paint & Clay Club will mark its 125th anniversary with a special retrospective exhibition at the New Haven Museum, on view from March 27 – June 28. This remarkable collection highlights the club’s rich history and lasting impact on the arts, with several paintings being added to the museum’s permanent collection.
All are invited to participate in an evening of art, history, and celebration on Thursday, May 1st, from 6–9 PM at the New Haven Museum. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with wine, hors d’oeuvres, and live music, followed by a talk by Peter Trippi, Editor-in-Chief of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, titled “Why Artist Clubs Matter.”
