1-2 pm: Set up your book for display
2-3 pm: Show open to the public and FREE children's activities!
3-4 pm: We serve tea and eat the books!
Get ready to eat your words at CAW’s 22nd Annual Edible Book Tea! Join us on April 27 from 1–4 pm in the Hilles Gallery for this fun, free event where culinary and literary creativity collide.
Inspired by the International Edible Book Festival, this annual celebration invites cooks and bakers to craft edible "books"—delicious creations that look like books, reference literature, or play on book titles with clever (and often punny) designs. From sweet to savory, these masterpieces will be on display at 2 pm and then—true to tradition—devoured at 3 pm!
Visitors are welcome to come admire, sip tea, and enjoy the feast—no need to bring an entry, just a love of books, food, and creativity. Whether you’re a first-time guest or a longtime attendee, this beloved community event is not to be missed!
Come hungry for art, words, and whimsy—we’ll see you there!
