This one-day printmaking intensive draws on America’s rich quilting history and is inspired by the patterns and rhythms of the Quilts of Gee’s Bend. Students will use relief printmaking techniques to create beautiful “quilts” without sewing. Print on fabric and paper to create a stunning patchwork of vibrant hues and innovative textures.
Returning students can experiment with new color palettes, add graphics or linear designs, and incorporate collage elements or natural materials.
The tuition for this class includes a fee of $20 for basic materials provided by CAW.
