Explore an innovative approach to printmaking using recycled Tetra-Pak® packaging as an alternative plate material. This one day workshop introduces both dry point/intaglio and monotype techniques, with an emphasis on mark making, tool use, plate inking, ink removal and treatment techniques to provide a variety of print outcomes.
Process demonstrations and examples of Tetra-Pak® prints will support exploration and experimentation. All inks are water-washable for easy cleanup. Plate materials and paper are provided. All students will walk away with a final print by the end of the workshop.
This workshop is suitable for new and advanced level printmakers. Join us!
