Have you ever wondered how to repair a cloth-bound book?
Join us in learning to repair the spine of a book by creating a new outer spine of book cloth adhered to the covers, called rebacking. We will line the spine of detached text blocks, explore keeping or replacing endpapers, and examine options for case repairs.
You’ll be thrilled when you see the changes in previously tattered books!
This class/workshop will take place in a studio accessed by a flight of stairs. For disability accommodations please send a confidential email to registrar@creativeartsworkshop.org
