Explore the complementary practice of collage and drawing.
Through guided prompts, demonstrations, and supportive feedback, students will experiment with mark-making, layering, and composition. Emphasis is placed on personal expression, creative confidence, and developing ideas at one’s own pace.
Tuition for this class includes a fee of $10 for newsprint and charcoal provided by CAW.
School Policies
Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.

Mixed Media or Watercolor Paper, 18 x 24in, several sheets Vine Charcoal Compressed charcoal Roll of Paper towels Gloss gel medium (thick) Pallet knife (medium trowel type) A variety of drawing media: oil or dry pastels, acrylic paint, markers and brushes Things to collage with such as your old work on paper, pieces of paper wallpaper, wrapping paper, colored papers. Please bring what you have on hand. If you do not have the materials, please ask before purchasing. We will begin with drawing materials.
