Focus on the botanical world as your print surface and subject!
Explore color, layering, and creating stencils, and use oil-based inks and an etching press to transfer the designs. Everyone will leave the class with a number of monotype prints which are a one of a kind image.
Important note regarding materials preparation prior to class: participants should select leaves, ferns, flowers, grasses, and barks that have interesting shapes and textures. Place your findings between the pages of a newsprint pad to press to flatten them a bit and pull out excess moisture about 24 hours before the class.
The tuition for this class includes a materials fee of $20 for basic materials provided by CAW.
School Policies
Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.
