Curious about welding or ready to take your skills further? This Saturday class welcomes all levels—from complete beginners to experienced Oxy-Acetylene and MIG welders. Learn the basics of welding or as an intermediate or advanced student, jump right into your own ideas as you explore the possibilities of metal sculpture.
The studio will be an energetic, creative space where experimentation is encouraged and support is always close by. With individualized guidance, students will build skills, gain confidence with welding tools and equipment, and bring your concept to life in metal.
Expect sparks, creativity, and plenty of satisfaction as you head home with work you made yourself. Safety is woven throughout, so you can focus on making while working with confidence.
Includes one 3-hour weekly practice session during monitored practice hours.
Students should wear 100% cotton long sleeves, jeans or work pants, and closed-toe boots. No synthetic mesh, plastic, or cloth.
The tuition for this class includes a materials fee of $40.
School Policies
Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.

All tools are provided by the CAW studio. Materials may be purchased by students from CAW, or students may bring in their own. Bring welding gloves if you have them.
