Join us in the Pottery Studio on the Sunday before Thanksgiving for the CAW Studio Potters’ 23rd Annual Bowl-A-Thon! Choose a beautiful handcrafted mug or bowl, fill it with hearty soup donated by local restaurants, and support the New Haven Community Soup Kitchen. Suggested donation levels are $20 for soup-sized bowls and mugs. Smaller and larger items are also available at marked prices.
This well-loved annual event was conceived by CAW Studio Potter Margie Haggerty and inspired by the Empty Bowls Project—an international effort by ceramic artists to fight hunger. Pottery for the event is created and donated by CAW’s Studio Potters, faculty, and students, and has raised over $180,000 for the Community Soup Kitchen. Creative Arts Workshop is proud to host this important event every year.
