The popular Adventures in Art is a series of summer one-week sessions where students can explore painting, drawing, clay, and more. There are programs for 4-6 year olds, young people entering 2nd – 5th grades and 6th – 8th grades. Summer Art Classes are also offered for ages two through teens. Creative Arts Workshop is a non-profit community art center devoted to fostering creativity through participation in and appreciation of the visual arts. The Workshop is located in historic New Haven, Connecticut, in the city's Audubon Arts district. The facility holds a community art school with spacious, fully equipped studios and two exhibition spaces including the nationally recognized Hilles Gallery.

CAW FACULTY SHOW

May 29 - June 26

The CAW Faculty Show features the over fifty professional artists that make up the CAW faculty with a diverse selection of work including oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, metals, fiber, photography, pottery, printmaking, sculpture and more with styles ranging from representational to abstract.

STUDENT SHOW

July 12 - 31

An exhibition of new artwork by CAW students of all ages in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, basketry, weaving, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, book arts, photography, and mixed media.  Opening Reception and Art Materials Tag Sale: Sunday, July 12, 2-5pm.
