Curatorial Statement
For the last three years for Women’s History Month I have made it my mission to highlight and celebrate International Women’s Day by featuring some of Connecticut’s trailblazing women and committing to the themes . This year, the theme is “BreakTheBias. My goal is to share photos featuring 5 women. The purpose is to celebrate women of all walks and to acknowledge their importance in this community. A lot of times people associate these professionals and “male occupations” but in reality, women are in these seats and thriving!”
