Compare and contrast how humans have been represented in art from the Stone Age to the present day. Historical examples will spark discussions about how representations of the human form vary across cultures and shift over time. Through various immersive exercises, students will be introduced to the concept of proportions and practice capturing the body’s movements and emotions.
This class encourages an appreciation for human history, knowledge of art history, and an understanding of symbolic language.
Tuition for this class includes a fee of $20 for basic materials provided by CAW.
