Spilled your paint, ripped your paper, found an errant mark – these can all be turned into happy “art-cidents.” Use layers to build wonderful and interesting images, figure out how to turn strange items into art making tools, and create textures that are beautiful and weird by forcing mediums to produce something they normally don’t do.
Amazing art will emerge from this class – come be part of it.
Tuition for this class includes a fee of $15 for basic materials provided by CAW. See below for materials students will need to bring.
School Policies
Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.

Wet Media: can include India Ink, Paint (acrylic, oil, or watercolor) Dry Media: can include Charcoal, oil pastel, graphite, Conté crayons, regular crayons, colored pencils Substrate: can include Mixed media drawing paper - Strathmore 400 series or Canson XL, 9" x 12" or 11" x 14", copy paper, or something you have always wanted to work with (i.e. cardboard) Tools: something weird to use as an art tool Brushes: (1) each small, medium, large (any type is fine)
