The accordion is one of the most versatile folds used in both traditional and artistic bookbinding. Come learn this terrific variation, where the pages are cardboard-hinged together. Each board (page) will be covered by 2-D media which may include photographs, artwork, printed images or other ephemera. The back of the book may be other images or text. Instruction will also focus on basic composition elements and the cropping of the images.
Note that this is not an archival book and the pages will face and touch each other. It is not suitable for valuable photographs or materials that smudge.
Enrollment in this class includes one 3-hour monitored open bench session a week.
The tuition for this class includes a materials fee of $2
