Less is more in portrait painting.
Working with a live model, students will explore the basics of painting a portrait—from the simple mapping out of bigger forms to looking at how a feature can be painted using the less is more technique. The instructor will work with each student individually to help them capture the look.
Examples of relevant artist’s work will be shown and discussed throughout the weekend workshop.
Tuition for this class includes a fee of $10 for basic materials provided by CAW.
