Learn portrait drawing techniques through a guided study of drawings by great artists from art history. Portrait drawing techniques of each artist will be highlighted, discussed through live online drawing demonstrations, slide shows, and group critiques. Students will be assigned drawings to copy in the week between classes and student work will be reviewed in class the following week. Artists that will be discussed in this class are Peter Paul Rubens, Mary Cassatt, and Charles White.
