In this one-day workshop, we will learn how to use great poems as building blocks for creating exciting new work of our own. Class time will include looking at example poems, group discussion, and generative writing exercises.
Working with form—whether borrowed, adapted, or broken open—can be a powerful way to begin a writing practice or to refresh an existing one. This workshop is designed to offer practical techniques, inspiration, and time to write.
This workshop is open to both beginners and more experienced writers alike.
