Learn how to screen print using very simple supplies such as wax crayons, water-based inks, and no sink! Kim herself prints in many different environments, primarily those without fancy studio equipment. Her works have often mirrored pastel drawings due to the textures she creates using wax crayons as a resist.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take turns drawing on the screen and printing with the squeegee to get a feel of how it’s done. Be prepared for the unexpected and a bit of risk taking as we collectively make decisions for our sample piece. All experience levels welcomed.
