Painting from the Still Life

In person

Annie Trowbridge

Drawing + Painting Workshop: All Levels

Using a still life, students will complete a painting from start to finish.

Beginning students will focus on how to hold a pencil, how to construct shapes, and how to choose a strong composition as well as the technicalities of color value and stroke texture.

More advanced students will have the opportunity to fine-tune their techniques in these areas. Students can bring either acrylic or oil paints according to their experience and comfort level.

All will be encouraged to express their own artistic voice, but will progress through the stages of the painting as a group.

The tuition for this class includes a fee of $xx for basic materials provided by CAW.
