Explore your inner creativity experimenting with this fun, splashy, transparent medium!
In this beginner’s workshop, students will learn how to set up a pallet and work area; become familiar in color theory and mixing; understand how to control the wet and dry of your brush and paper; and explore exciting texturing and mixed media effects from brush to paper.
By the end of this session students will be able to:
• Identify the 4 pillars of watercolor
• Describe and execute the three main watercolor techniques
• Know the difference between “wet on wet” painting. “wet on dry” painting, and accomplish completion of a composition in both techniques
Tuition for this class includes a fee of $10 for basic materials provided by CAW.
