Amaze your friends and family with these beautiful origami artworks. By performing simple folds, you will be able to create wonderful designs based on repeated patterns rather than a known object like a crane or a flower. Origami made from colored paper gives striking patterns of light and shadow, while patterned or decorative paper provides more ornamental results. Once you’ve mastered the basic ideas, you will learn how to attach your pieces to cardstock to create a pop-up sculptural card. Guidance will be given to the best types of paper needed to produce your own future creations.
Note: This class has been postponed to the Spring 2023 term.
