Thinking of illustration as a career? This is the class for you.
Participants will explore types of illustration used in a variety of industries. The purpose of this class is to introduce students to the quality of work, time management, and factors needed in a professional work place.
Students can use digital media, traditional painting media such as watercolor, acrylic, oil paint, or gouache, or traditional drawing media such as colored pencils, oil pastel, or charcoal.
The tuition for this class includes a fee of $10 for basic materials provided by CAW.
School Policies
Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.

Student can choose a medium that they are comfortable working with and can bring to class as follows: Digital Media -Laptop with an Image Program already loaded such as Gimp, Photoshop, Clip Paint, or Krita, or a drawing tablet with programs such as Wacom or Huion Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil Paint, or Gouache: -Must be student grade, not elementary school quality -Appropriate brushes, a palette with a lid, and containers/jars to hold water/terpenoid. Drawing Mediums: - Colored Pencil, Oil Pastel, Charcoal -Must be student grade, not elementary school quality
