This is the class for you if you want to make a “real book.” Students will focus on making one of two case bindings: the traditional case binding (which is a hardcover book with lots of pages sewn together) and a rounded or flat spine with headbands; or the Bradel case binding (which has a flat back, a handsome false groove and is suitable for slimmer volumes). Instruction is adjusted to the skill of the individual. Intermediate students may continue work on individual projects.
Enrollment in this class includes one 3 hour monitored practice session a week.
The tuition for this class includes a fee of $7 for basic materials provided by CAW.
CAW is now requiring proof of vaccination status from all who are eligible to receive it for in-person classes and workshops.
