Adventures in Collage and Sculpture

Create collage and sculptures using a variety of art materials including recycled objects, standard art materials, and nature findings.

Inspiration will be drawn from artists such as Eric Carle, Henri Matisse, Louise Nevelson, Richard Long, and Barbara Hepworth. Projects may include

• Collages with cut and torn paper shapes, or layering with paint and tissue paper
• Sculptures using sand, shells, twigs and sawdust, or clay and found objects
• Face masks using paper, cardboard and paint.

Students are encouraged to explore their own interpretations of projects.

School Policies

Students who withdraw 48 hours prior to the first class are eligible for a refund or credit toward another class, less a $25 registration fee.
