The Winter Installation is a unique opportunity for installation artists to exhibit in the Hilles Gallery during Creative Arts Workshop’s Annual Celebration of American Crafts. Thousands of visitors each year attend this exhibit, sale, and fundraiser and the Winter Installation is a new artistic attraction for this beloved community event.
Guidelines
Submissions should include a written proposal, artist resume & statement, and images of recent work completed within the last two years. If you have a specific idea of what your completed installation will look like, CAW’s Gallery Committee recommends that you submit representative drawings or images in your proposal. Preference will be given to new work with a winter or holiday theme not previously viewed in the New Haven region.
This is a site-specific installation that includes the gallery windows and ceiling but, due to the sale, excludes gallery walls or floor space. We recommend that you visit during gallery hours to view the space.
