Creative Arts Workshop is additionally supported by a large core of volunteers who donate their time and energy to the Workshop throughout the year. Volunteers at CAW play an important role in supporting our programming, from manning the front-desk in the evenings to administration to gallery and fund-raising events.

One of our most impressive volunteer-run events is the Annual Celebration of American Crafts, the Workshop's largest fundraising event. The Celebration began as a one-day craft sale and has grown into a prestigious six-week exhibition and sale of fine contemporary crafts. The Celebration is staffed by over 100 volunteers, who oversee everything from inventory to selling beautiful, hand crafted items in the galleries.
