“My art celebrates the ordinary and looks past the obvious. I have a strong fascination with anything vintage and like to juxtapose everyday things with items from the past. Part of what’s so intoxicating about nostalgia is that it offers a temporary escape, connects me to my roots, and allows me to tell my own story through art. And, it reminds us that beauty lies in imperfection that can always be repurposed.”
