Floor Loom Weaving

For beginners, learn the basics of preparing and operating a loom and weave a sampler combining many useful weaves. Students will complete the term by designing and weaving one or two simple projects of their choice.

For intermediate and advanced students, individual guidance will be given to design and weave projects with more complex structures and use of multi-harness loom.

Note: No class 4/19. $14 materials fee will apply for beginners only.

Sewing From A Pattern

with Christine Earehart

Learn the language and techniques of sewing from a commercial pattern. From fabric selection to learning the proper measurements, participant will learn how to pin, cut, sew and finish a garment. Attention to proper fit through darts and shaping will be covered plus buttonholes and decorative machine stitching as well as hand finishing for a garment.

This course is designed to work in a small group learning environment with one-on-one instruction to help participant meet their sewing goals.

Supplies: Basic sewing kit, fabric scissors, pattern, and fabric
