Art Unexpected

with Nelli Shevelkina

Let’s switch things around a bit and make unexpected art. Imagine… instead of painting a picture of objects on a table (still life); create one made in soft fiber or as a sculpture. Create a portrait as a mask, draw with wire, make a landscape as a hanging mobile or layered paper-cuts. “Paint” with colored sand and glitter or yarn and beads or nails and fabric. Learn how the artists of today challenge the usual ways of creating art and invent your own techniques for that.
